The mission of the Office of University Relations is to help the university achieve its goal of being one of the nation's top 10 public universities by promoting positive relations between the University of Florida and its many constituents, by enhancing internal and external communications, and by facilitating the integration and coordination of the university's various public relations, communications, publications and news operations.
In support of this mission, the Office is home to the university's news bureau, as well as departments charged with the management of government and community relations, marketing communications, public relations, internal communications and production services. The missions and capabilities of each of these departments can be viewed through their respective links on the left.
