Dan EschenfelderDan has more than a decade of experience in television news and production. He worked as a photojournalist and editor for numerous local television affiliates, including NBC in Quincy, Ill., NBC/ABC in Jacksonville, Fla., and CBS in Fort Myers, Fla. In Fort Myers, he served as bureau chief for Charlotte County.

His production experience is quite extensive as well. As a video director of photography, Dan has shot commercials, documentaries, corporate videos, infomercials, national television shows and more.

Dan was up close with the Florida fires of 1998, stood near the eye of Hurricane Floyd, and traveled to the Bahamas to document the destruction Floyd left behind. He has covered rock climbers, sky divers, and hang gliders. He has shot from Naval ships, Coast Guard boats and yachts.

His video has been seen on NBC Nightly News, Good Morning America, Dateline, Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, ESPN, The Today Show, The History Channel, Tech TV, Soap Net, Bloomberg Television, Geraldo and many more.

His work has earned him a Silver Telly, two Bronze Tellys, an Addy, a Communicator, The Golden CASE and the prestigious Edward R. Murrow award.
