Print/Online Media

The UF News Bureau print section produces news releases for newspapers, wire services, magazines and online publications. Highlighting UF research is our main mission. Recipients of our releases include local, state, regional, national and international news media. News Bureau print staff members have years of experience as working journalists, and our releases are written in accordance with widely accepted news standards, including Associated Press style.

The UF News Bureau also works with reporters to locate expert sources for stories and track down information about the university. In addition, the UF Op-Ed Service is part of the News Bureau print news operation and provides faculty members with editing and placement assistance.

The News Bureau print section also houses the UF News Desk, a cooperative effort among all the news offices on campus to coordinate news dissemination.
