UF Board of Trustees approves final budget reduction plan
The final budget reduction plan proposed by President Bernie Machen has been approved by the Board of Trustees for the 2009-’10 fiscal year, which begins on July 1. The plan includes $30.6 million in specific cuts. Federal stimulus funds will help bridge the gap and allow further deliberations before UF reaches the ultimate budget reduction of $42.2 million next year...
