Non-profit that focuses on health disparities within its service area by working with health professions students to introduce creative education and activities on nutrition, physical fitness and wellness to youth in their formative years.
Florida Partnership for Water, Agriculture & Community Sustainability at Hastings:
This facility is one of the Research and Demonstration Sites, strategically located close to a major commodity production region. The RDSs enable IFAS researchers to quickly respond to the agricultural and natural resource needs in Florida.
UF and Historic St. Augustine:
In October 2010, UF took over stewardship of 34 state-owned historic sites throughout St. Augustine's historic district, including the Government House. UF will work with the city to not only repair and restore the buildings, but also to create new education opportunities for visitors.
The Whitney Laboratory for Marine Bioscience, St. Augustine:
A UF research institute, this lab’s mission is to use marine organisms in basic biological research, and to apply, where possible, the novel results of this research to problems of human health, natural resources and the environment.
