Strategic Web Design

Captivating web environments are more critical to the University’s communications mission than ever. For critical campaigns requiring strategic planning, development and timely execution, University Relations can assure that your web presence is aligned with your strategic goals.

Philosophy

  • Content is king
  • Simple is better
  • Clean UI and UX are the main goals
  • Focus on typography
  • Whitespace is our friend
  • Adaptive frameworks when appropriate

Our Workflow Process

  1. Discover: Information gathering, research, client requests
  2. Plan: Information architecture, concept refinement, create project scope document
  3. Sketch: Wireframe, page layout
  4. Design: Create graphics (photos, textures, colors, etc) and apply them to a website design, present design comps to the client for approval
  5. Prototype: Build out the site wireframe (HTML, CSS, jQuery), test custom framework (browser, tablet, mobile)
  6. Visual Build: Apply graphics to the working framework
  7. Refine: Review project as a whole and make necessary adjustments, fix any bugs
  8. Reveal: Present the project to the client, discuss possible minor edits
